India shoots for the Moon in new mission

First country to land a Spacecraft on the Moon’s south Pole

India has launched a rocket to the moon in an attempt at becoming the first country to land a spacecraft on the moon’s south Pole.

If successful, it would become only the fourth country to execute a controlled landing on the moon.
