Pasta-maker Barilla has been developing a 3-D pasta printer since 2014. A Spanish company called Natural Machines has been working on a printer that would allow people to insert specified quantities of pre-prepped ingredients, then tell the machine to “print” a final food product.
Over the past few decades, plenty of things have changed in the food business. Restaurateurs today have to put as much time into responding to Facebook inquiries and Yelp reviews as they do into finding a good host or hostess.
